In a proud moment for all of Africa, the waters ebbed out of Warri Kingdom in the heart of Nigeria’s Delta, and flowed in torrents to the ancient Zulu Kingdom in South Africa. The occasion being the arrival of His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III CFR, on a fraternal visit to His Majesty Misuzulu KaZwelithini of Zulu Kingdom in Nongoma, South Africa, with both monarchs testifying to shared values and rich cultural heritage that exist across the continent.

Though separated by geography, time, and language, the two monarchies have found common ground in their commitment to socioeconomic and cultural exchanges.
At the zenith of the epoch meeting was the signing of a pledge for collaboration by the royal fathers, marking the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship set to foster cooperation and growth between the two kingdoms.

As the Warri and Zulu Kingdoms embark on this journey of togetherness, a new threading has been added to the vibrant tapestry that is African culture, inspiring hope for a brighter future for the continent — one that is built on mutual respect, understanding, and a deep appreciation for the continent’s rich cultural heritage.
