His Majesty Ògíamẹ̀ Atuwatse III CFR graced the Coronation of His Majesty Ọba Abímbọ́lá Akeem Ọ̀wọ̀adé I, the 46th Aláàfin of Ọ̀yọ́, in honour of a revered age-long throne and a significant chapter in Yoruba history, which the Itsekiris are proud to be associated with.
The occasion was witnessed by an esteemed assembly of royal fathers and dignitaries, including the Ooni of Ife, the Sultan of Sokoto, the Soun of Ogbomoso, and the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
Following the celebrations, His Majesty paid a courtesy call on Governor Makinde in Ibadan—affirming the spirit of cooperation and goodwill with the government and good people of Oyo State.
The Warri kingdom celebrates with the Oyo people, wishing Aláàfin a long and prosperous reign filled with progress and peace.
