His Majesty Ògíamẹ̀ Atuwatse III CFR on Wednesday 16th October, 2024 attended an event commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Commonwealth Youth Program, where distinguished speakers and youth leaders convened to address some of the challenges facing the youth in today’s world, first in the Commonwealth, then the rest of the world.
In a gathering marked by thought-provoking dialogue and musical brilliance, His Majesty in his remarks highlighted the essential role of traditional institutions in propelling the Fourth Industrial Revolution, with particular emphasis on the fundamental part identity plays in development both of nations and of individuals globally.
The event was enriched by stirring interludes from the All Stars Youth Ensemble, a talented musical group who have gone on to garner good attention from within Nigeria and beyond.
His Majesty commends the event convener Prince Iwefa Aganaba, attesting that the propagation of these conversations encourages a collective dedication of all stakeholders to youth leadership and progress for a brighter, more inclusive future.
